Masala Chicken Wings
Background:
Chicken wings are an staple of an American household. Our newest collaborator Tamanna Shah created a super tasty Indian spiced wings recipe packed with bright notes of citrus and heat. This is a perfect mid day snack or could even hold up at a whole meal.
Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

10 - 12 chicken wings

1 tbsp garlic paste

1 tbsp ginger paste
-
1/2 tsp Mumbai Spice Company turmeric

1 tsp salt

1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

2 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Directions:

Bake or air fry chicken wings at 400 F for 8 mins, flipping halfway through.

In a pan, fry onions in oil until slightly browned.

Add ginger and garlic paste. Fry until fragrant.

Add garam masala, cumin, turmeric, red chili powder and salt. Mix well, then add chicken wings to the paste and toss until well coated.

Finish by adding the cilantro and lemon juice and cook a few minutes until the cilantro wilts.

Serve with lemon or lime wedges.
